RISC OS Developers
RISC OS Open –
Developers of their own open-source variant of the operating system,
RISC OS 5 is constantly under development and runs on the newest
hardware.
RISCOS Ltd.
– Developers of their own commercial strand of RISC OS, 4.xx and Six.
Specializing in supporting older (26-bit) RISC OS computers as well as
emulators. No longer actively developing RISC OS but are still processing orders.
RISC OS Computers
ARMini
– The newest out-of-the-box RISC OS computer, taking over the reigns
from the now happily retired Iyonix. Runs its own blend of RISC OS 5
with a huge amount of software bundled with it too.
Raspberry Pi –
The world's cheapest computer at a bargain price of just 16ukp, and it
can run RISC OS natively! What more needs to be said? Go get one, now!
BeagleBoard –
A RISC OS computer for the DIY enthusiast in you, it won’t run RISC OS
out of the box. You can boot RISC OS 5 off a memory card or a USB flash
drive. The Beagleboard is currently the most popular new-gen RISC OS
computer thanks to its small size and cheap price.
PandaBoard –
The most powerful RISC OS computer available and is perfect for the DIY
enthusiast in you, it won’t run RISC OS out of the box. You can boot
RISC OS 5 off a memory card or a USB flash drive.
TouchBook –
The Touchbook is the fanciest RISC OS compatible out there at the
moment, it’s a laptop which has a detachable screen, meaning that it’s
also a tablet. It won’t run RISC OS out of the box, but it won’t take
too long to get RISC OS 5 up and running on it.

– Updated daily, the RISCOSCode has grown significantly in recent years
and is without doubt the best place to go for daily RISC OS and general
computing news.
RISCOSitory – The RISCOSitory is regularly updated and is a very reliable source of informative, entertaining RISC OS news posts.
The Icon Bar –
The longest running RISC OS news portal, it's not as active as it used
to be but it's still worth a peek, especially at the forum, which gets
quite busy at times!
Arcsite
- Germany's longest-running RISC OS news website, with regular updates
and a thriving community, well-worth a look if you can speak the German
language!
Magazines
Archive Magazine
– Archive is the longest running RISC OS magazine, and is the only
paper-based English magazine still in operation. It is subscription
only, although single copies are available at RISC OS shows, definitely
worth a read.
Drag 'n' Drop
– Drag 'n' Drop is a PDF based RISC OS magazine, featuring news,
various reports and amusing articles, DnD is well worth a read.
GAG-News - Germany's longest running RISC OS magazine, well worth a read if you can speak the language!
